Project Overview

This project focuses on restoring 4,124 hectares of fallow lands in tribal districts of Odisha. By implementing sustainable land management practices, intensive plantations, and ecological development, the project seeks to improve livelihoods for tribal farmers while enhancing biodiversity and combating soil degradation.

Key Objectives

Restore fallow lands through plantation of forest and fruit-bearing tree species.

Promote sustainable agriculture by implementing soil moisture conservation techniques.

Create sustainable livelihoods for tribal communities by linking plantations with income- generating activities such as cashew plantation and sericulture.
