Project Overview
This project focuses on restoring 19,120 hectares of degraded fallow lands in Ethiopia’s Oromia and Sidama regions. The initiative aims to enhance carbon stocks and improve the livelihoods of local communities, by planting native tree and bamboo species.

Restore degraded fallow lands to generate carbon sinks.
Promote sustainable harvesting of bamboo to provide monetary benefits to the local communities.
Establish value supply chains for sericulture and apiculture products.
